AIPMT 2015 Exam Review

Every year Central board of secondary education (CBSE) conduct All India Pre Medical Test i.e. AIPMT. Last year in 2014, 6 lakh 17 thousand students gave this exam and according to the officials, this year 6,32,649 candidates registered for the exam and more than 600,000 appeared in it. CBSE conduct this exam for the 3200 MBBS and 300 BDS seats of 300 medical and 20 Dental colleges of India. 15% seats in all Government medical and dental colleges of India is reserved for AIPMT aspirants (excluding Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Jammu & Kashmir). AIPMT Exam is a big opportunity for all students willing to make their career in Medical field and due to its importance this exam is tough in its level.
Let’s have a look at the pattern of AIPMT exam, there are 4 sections in paper: Physics, Chemistry, Zoology and Botany; having 45 questions in each sections, 180 questions in total and paper duration is 3 hours.

AIPMT exam of 2015 is over now and here are the review and expected Cut Off of AIPMT 2015. As per the data collected and students review, this year exam is rated; moderate level on difficulty. Students found physics section’, the toughest and lengthy and biology and chemistry as average.
As per students, major part of the question paper were out of the NCERT book but still this time students found the paper as per their expectation and there were no surprise elements in the question which usually comes in the AIPMT paper. All in all, students were neither happy nor amazed by seeing difficulty level of AIPMT.
On this AIPMT Exam, expert reviews matches with the students thoughts and as per their point of view also, Physics was the toughest section of the exam with Chemistry and biology on its moderate level. Expert said, "major questions were out of NCERT and added its toughness to the exam. AIPMT did not followed the NCERT and higher level of thinking was involved in most of the questions. Chemistry was easier than Physics and this year equal weightage were given to chemistry topics like organic chemistry, Carbon cycle, Inorganic chemistry. Most of the questions of this sections were also out of the NCERT and were difficult. Biology was the easiest in all the sections but still do not involved the direct questions from NCERT".
Overall, AIPMT exam 2015 was of moderate level but still a difficult one for the students who do not referred other referral books like NCERT at Your Fingertips, AIPMT Guides and practiced the previous year question papers as available in 27 years AIPMT Chapterwise Solutions.
All the candidates appeared for the exam are now curiously awaiting for the exam results. In AIPMT results, 2014; 46271 candidates qualified for counselling in medical and dental colleges but only 18115 qualified for 15% reserved in all India colleges. Minimum cut off is fixed but depending on the rank obtained seats are filled in AIPMT exam. The greater the rank the greater will be the chance to get enrol in it.
Now it is time to wait for the AIPMT exam result, 2015 and all the aspirants expect to get the results in their favour. According to reports, the captured images of AIPMT OMR Sheet and Responses will be displayed on the AIPMT website, www.aipmt.nic.in for any three days between 20th May, 2015 and 25th May, 2015.  Candidates can view the same during said period free of cost.
