Aadhar Number Not Mandatory For NEET Enrolment!

The supreme court has declared that no Aadhar number is required to enrol in NEET 2018. On March 7, Supreme Court directed CBSE not to make Aadhar number mandatory for students who are appearing for NEET 2018 and other all India exams. A Constitution bench of five judges headed by Chief justice Dipak Misra directed the CBSE to upload the information on their website. Rest assured, no need to enrol Aadhar number in NEET from now. Earlier the UIDAI had stated the top court that CBSE has not been given any authority in this adjudge and UIDAI's remarks came on a plea challenging the decision of CBSE in the matter.


NEET Must For All-India Quota Seats In Veterinary (VET) Colleges

All those desirous students who want to take admission in Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) and Animal Husbandry (AH) degree courses under 15% seats on All India Quota are hereby advised to appear in NEET (UG) 2018 which will be be conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on 6th May, 2018. In public notice, the Veterinary Council of India said 'in pursuance of letter dated 22nd February, 2018 issued by the Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India, it is informed that Veterinary Council of India will use National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG)-2018 qualified Merit List for admission of students to B.V.Sc. & A.H. Degree course during the academic year 2018-19 for filling up of seats in recognized Veterinary Colleges (except Jammu and Kashmir) under 15% All India Quota.' .



NEET 2018 Last Date Extended to March 12, Submit Fee Till March 13

NEET 2018 registration has been extended from 9th March to 12th March. Earlier in the day, the last date to apply online for NEET 2018 was 9th March 2018. As per the latest NEET 2018 Notification released on cbseneet.nic.in, "The date for submission of online Application Form for NEET (UG), 2018 is extended from 09.03.2018 (Friday) to 12.03.2018 (Monday) till 5.30 pm." Candidates who register before the deadline, will be able to deposit the online fee till 13th March, 11:50PM and the one-time correction window will be available from 15th to 17th March 2018. .


Candidates From NIOS/State Open School Can Apply For CBSE NEET 2018

Good news for NIOS and Open school students. NIOS and Open school students are now allowed to appear for CBSE NEET 2018. As per the directives of Hon'ble High Court of Delhi, candidates belonging to both reserved and unreserved category are eligible to appear for NEET 2018. As per the special instructions notice issued by CBSE, NIOS/ State Open School and Private candidates may submit details as suggested below under the information of Class XI of their NEET UG 2018 application form:
1. Name of School/College - Same as of Class XII.
2. Year of Passing - One Year before the Passing of Class XII.
3. Place of Study - As Applicable.
4. State where Class XI School/College is located – Same as of Class XII.
5. District where Class XI School/College is located - Same as of Class XII.
